Facilitator Training is a 1.5-day workshop for youth workers, educators, counsellors, social workers, parents and community members interested in supporting girls on a journey toward self-esteem and authenticity.

The training provides all the materials and training necessary to start a group for pre-teen girls and boys in your community. Participants will learn how to provide age appropriate prevention focused support and education groups for pre-teen girls and boys.

Girl Power and 2BBoys Facilitator Training Manuals and the daily lesson plans for starting and leading your own group are provided on the training days.

Cost:  $495.00 + applicable taxes, First Nation tax exempt only on band land

$475.00 Early Bird rate (paid one month prior to training dates)

A/V requirements: Screen, white board or flip-chart. For groups of 50 or more, a clip-on, microphone is requested.

Community Training Costs:   Negotiable, based on location, time of year, number of attendees, training content, number of training hours and days, required preparation time, and similar factors.  Usually lunch is provided by the community offering the training.
